Hollow Lantern

Hollow Lantern is a story-driven adventure you play mostly by tapping to explore and solving environmental puzzles. You guide a lamplighter through an abandoned town, piecing together what happened by lighting old lamps and reading the notes people left behind.

The art is hand-drawn and lovely, and the sound design does a lot of heavy lifting for the mood. Puzzles are fair, leaning on observation rather than obscure logic, and there's a gentle hint system if you get stuck without ruining the moment.

It's short, maybe five hours, but it lingers. A great one for a rainy evening with headphones.
